Werner Herzog Film School

herzog-werner-050811

Werner Herzog is either a freak, a god, or a figment of our collective imagination. Take a look at his track record.

1. He made Aguire Wrath of God and Grizzly Man.
2. He pulled Joaquin Phoenix out of a car after a car wreck.
3. He just remade Bad Lieutenant with Nicolas Cage.
4. He was once shot during an interview, but chose to continue it.

The man is a genius/freak and now he’s teaching his own film school. For $1,450 (bones or clams or whatever you call it these days) you can spend a weekend with Professor Herzog and his Rogue Film School.

Application here.

Here’s what the schedule looks like.

Friday morning – Battle a kodiac bear with a tripod and focus whip.

Friday afternoon – Dress up as a spanish conquistador and use the jaws of life on car wreck victims.

Saturday – Get shot in the stomach but continue through the rest of the school.

Sunday – Watch Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans
